Great News!

Today is the day that I have been waiting for, Great News!  The doc says all my tumors (from my Stage 4 Breast Cancer) except the main one are all completely gone! Even the main one shrunk by 50%!  I did this in 7 months without chemo, radiation or surgery!  I still have a lot of work ahead of me, but I’m excited to have started this website to help others diagnosed with Cancer get a fast start to healing.

  1. I am scared. I am usually the strong one, so this is new to me. I was diagnosed with lung cancer 5 days ago. Today is my only child’s 20th birthday. I am in the fight of my life and for my life. I had a brain aneurism 17 1/2 years ago. I am grateful for that time & the opportunity to raise my daughter. I am selfishly praying for more time. Thank you and God bless

  2. Kerry, I know you are scared, but I know you are strong and if you dedicate time to learning about alternative treatments and diet, you will feel empowered, determined and strong again, and your positive attitude will help you heal more than anything else! Go Warrior!

  3. Thank you SO much for spreading the word and sharing your very personal story. You give everyone hope that there are safer, natural alternatives to chemo and radiation, which I have first hand seen the permanent damage those treatments can cause. I’m so fortunate to cross paths with you in your journey!

  4. My mom is currently fighter stage IV breast cancer? What type of breast cancer did you have?

  5. Some people are sceptical about people being cured from cancer. Would you be willing to submit evidence. I,myself, believe it’s possible, but they’re looking for proof and not testimonials.

  6. Dear Kelly, I can understand the fear – but as someone who has researched alternative treatments extensively, please be assured that there are many effective treatments – without the side effects. There is also a very large community of people who – through healing themselves of cancer – have accumulated a wealth of information and have chosen to share their experience, methods of treatment, outcomes and other resources – as indeed Carla has done wholeheartedly here on her website. Some of these websites are: ChrisBeatCancer.com, radical remission.com, maryrust.com, thetruthaboutcancer.com.
Some of the most common options that you see cancer patients choose include vitamin C IV treatment, low dose Naltrexone, vitamin D and B12 supplements, selenium, magnesium.

I wish you the best of success with your journey! As Carla advocates, be optimistic, laugh a lot, get out for the sunlight and the exercise. Select your best treatment regime – and follow it with belief and determination!

  7. I have stage 1 Lung Cancer I found out doing a biopsy on Feb 29, 2016 I was scheduled to have half my left lung removed. The date was set for March 20th BUT the Dr called and needed to reschedule my surgery. Well since I was told my cancer was very slow growing (I could probably live up to 10 years without doing anything), I decided I would work on seeing if my body could heal itself – doing Juicing and multi vitamins. Plus decided to go to Bio-Medial Clinic in TJ Mexico. The clinic put me on “Hoxie Tonic” Plus many of their vitamins. I have lost 20lbs and feel great. I don’t know if my tumor has shrunk – I plan on having a CT Scan the end of July. I need to have this test done, as you stated in your interview with Chris, my family is insisting that I do this. I told them if the tumor has not shrunk I will have the surgery. And I do believe it has. I never did have any symptoms so its difficult to say if it has shrunk. Thank you so much for your receipts I plan to get me the blender you recommenced and try the budwick plan (not sure what you called it) Will continue to watch your website for your receipts.

  8. December 2015, I was diagnosed with stage 2/3 breast cancer, the cancer was in one of my lymph nodes as well as a small tumor in my left breast. After numerous pet scans and MRI’s etc it was determined that the cancer is no where else in my body. Unfortunately I did not seek any second opinions etc and underwent chemotherapy Jan. 6 – June 1. In addition to the chemo I changed my diet etc and began drinking smoothies etc and more veggies (but I also still eat meat). I went to the doctor yesterday and she raved on how well I have done and how very small the tumor is….she is suggesting lumpectomy with radiation, or bilateral mascectomy with radiation if lymph node is positive for cancer and if not then no radiation with the mascectomy. I do not want any more of these toxic stuff in my body, I do not want radiation, eventhough I have to admit the idea of smaller breasts are alluring to me though 🙂

I saw your video with Chris beat Cancer…do you think it is too late for me with the alternative medicine….I really do not want the radiation and if possible the no surgery….

  9. I have secondary breast cancer which has gone to the bones. Do you have any info which might help in terms of treatment.

  10. Thank you for sharing your story to let people know there is hope beyond what doctors try to convince you off. I am sharing this with everyone!

  11. Thank you so much for sharing this site. I’m wondering if you would be willing to answer a few questions i have? I wondered how long you did the Vit C IV for and what the dosage you were taking /given? I’m looking into it and of course it’s so expensive and here in Canada even MORE expensive. So i’m trying to figure out if i can afford 2x/week, but how long did you do Vit C for? and how long did you use the low does Naltrexone? Thanks so much..

  12. Way to go, Carla! I’ve helped people change their lifestyles for 14 years now and have watched one powerful change after another. So many health problems…healed and solved through healthy lifestyle choices! Keep up the amazing work helping and inspiring others!

  13. Hi Carla,

What an amazing story. I have stage IV metastatic breast cancer. I have been living with it for 3 1/2 years. I am curious. Is your cancer estrogen dependent? Mine is. I would love to know your experience.

  14. So awesome of you to share this very important information. I am in San Diego and want to start a group for people treating cancer with alternative treatments..diet, Vit C, Vit b17 etc. I am a multiple cancer survivor. I had Leukemia as a kid with AML (hardly anyone lived) and I did after two years of horrible treatments and a relapse. Then 5 years ago I was dx with breast cancer the first time and and recently dx again….long story but I really want to help others and myself get the best info on treating cancer and preventing it. I am doing the Budwig diet and taking B17. I will start IV Vit. C in about a month. I juice and try to eat organic. I would love to know what supplements you took. that is the hardest thing for me…there is so much out there and it is overwhelming. I am trying to do this on my own. Jennifer

  15. May I ask what type of cancer you had. I was diagnosed w/invasive lobular carcinoma stage 2b w/ ER & Pr + Her2 -. My Oncotype DX score was 7 so Chemo was not recommended but since I had cancer in 2 of 3 lymph nodes they want to do radiation ,M-F for 6 weeks. I have not started yet. I had a double mastectomy April 25. I started reconstruction right away and am almost healed. I expect to be pressured to start radiation before the end of July. I really don’t want to.

  16. I was diagnosed in December of 2015 with stage 4 colon cancer. I am receiving chemo therapy and my tumor has shrank to about half the size it was at my diagnosis, which is great news but I am now at 6 months of treatment and chemo seems to have done all it can now. Do you have a ready to follow diet and supplement plan? I just started researching alternative treatments and there’s so much info out there! I heard budwig protocol and vitamin c infusions. Please advise of anything else you would recommend.
    Thank you Richard

  17. In your Budwig video, at the end you mentioned ‘no oats.’ I thought only wheat was a problem. Please explain the problem with oats. Thx

  18. Thank you for posting your story. I saw it on Chris Beat Cancer. I have been diagnosed with Stage 2 Breast Cancer and was doing the Budwig Protocol, but then learned that Flax was was one of the highest foods that mocks estrogen. My cancer is estrogen positive. I tried to find info on this and stopped doing the flax oil because of this until I had more information. I was wondering if your breast cancer was estrogen positive? I felt like I was really doing something when I was taking it and want to start again, but I’m afraid. Thanks for any info.

  19. Great Carla , the recipe was very detailed with easy to use ingredients , I just want to prevent cancer for me and my family , so wanted to ask if this Budwig diet is suitable for prevention as well, any research on this ?

  20. Hi :
I was diagnosed 4 years ago same type of cancer when I was pregnant with my second child.
I go to the same place that you go for vitamin c ivs. I will love to meet you!

  21. There is no negativity intended here but I am curious (having done the Budwig protocol some years ago)…. why rely on dairy product (I assume cow cottage cheese?) to beat your cancer?? My naturopath oncologist strongly recommends staying away from this.

I still can’t figure out how using cow cottage cheese can help beat cancer. Would using goat or sheep’s cottage cheese produce the same results do you think?

    Thoughts?

  22. Just caught your incredible story on Chris Beat Cancer. Wow.
Although I don’t have cancer, family and friends have had cancer throughout the years. I want to learn more for myself, if I ever need it, and for anyone else I can help. Can’t wait to check thru the rest of your site. Thank you for making your story and all your putting together available.

  23. I watched your interview with Chris Wark in Las Vegas. I am so happy for you! I am a great supporter of alternative treatments since curing my wife of leukemia in 1997, She was terrified going with chemo and having to watch as her mother and aunt both died of cancer. She did not want to endure the suffering they did and probably die anyway. This was my first investigation into alternative cancer treatment and I chose Essiac which I am sure you have heard of. It is an immune booster and in six weeks her leukemia was gone.

I also used Essiac to cure a cancerous bone tumour in my cats leg in 2010. They wanted to amputate the leg and put the cat on chemo and their were no guarantees.

My third success story was using the ketogenic anti-cancer diet to cure prostate cancer. I hope you visit the web site to read the science behind the diet.

    All the best,

    John Tod

  24. Go to ‘you tube’ and watch all 9 Episodes from Ty Bollinger, ‘The Truth about Cancer’. It’ll give you hope and it will give you very many choices. Good luck to you. 🙂

  25. Carla your down-to-earth testimonial and real advice is great. How can one contact you? I just have a couple of questions regarding the brands and sources of supplements you used. So glad to see how vibrant and healthy you are.

  26. Dear Mossie, I use fresh ginger and tumeric and pineapple in my juice. I have also started to eat some clean fish and grass-fed organic meats, but I am very careful not to make it more than 10% of the daily intake. I hope this helps! Carla

  27. J, you are a Warrior! If you join newsletter you can send me a message when you get your email. Keep up the good work!

  28. If you join the newsletter (fast start checklist) on the right, you will get a list!

  29. I am allergic to cow dairy but have not had problems with organic cottage cheese, I have also used goat keifer and that works also, but trying to obtain goat or sheep’s cottage cheese is very difficult for most. My understanding is that when the cottage cheese is combined with the flax oil it produces a chemical reaction. The success rate that Dr. Johanna Budwig had in the 50’s is undeniable, (read the book The Cancer and Coronary Heart Disease Prevention Diet).

  30. Thank you for sharing your story, it helps so much, my husband had Bladder Cancer and I am doing the Alternative methods and it can be confusing, you are an inspiration to me.

    Hollaye Vladimiroff

  31. Thank you for your support. Please join newsletter and you can send email questions back when you get your checklist.

  32. Please read the book “The Budwig Cancer and Coronary Heart Disease Prevention Diet” I have a link on this website under Healing Products. In the book on page 7 it has a whole list of ailments.

  33. I was also 95% Estrogen Positive, so I was scared of taking flax, but after much research I decided that it would benefit me to take the flax as well as flax crackers everyday. I can’t explain the science here but I’m very convinced that the Budwig Protocol had a huge impact on my recovery!

  34. You can get more detailed info by joining newsletter and getting the “fast start checklist” and responding with your questions. You are a Warrior, I recommend the book “Radical Remission”, keep up the good work you are going to make it!

  35. ER+ PR+ Her2- invasive/Ductal Carcinoma stage 4, I refused radiation due to the scar tissue and Cancer that it can cause.

  36. The reason I said that is that most people just use regular oats that are not certified gluten free or organic or non-GMO, most regular oats are cross contaminated with gulten and gluten caused inflammation, so if you can find certified gluten-free, then that’s ok.

  37. I did 50,000. IU twice per week for 6 months, then once per week for 3 months and now every two weeks. It really depends on how you are progressing. I still take my LDN, melatonin, o2 drops and Protandim every night

  38. If you are alive, it’s not too late! The reason I have not done surgery now that the tumor is smaller, is that surgery causes your immune system to go and fight healing at the site of the wound instead of concentrating on fighting the Cancer!

  39. I did the VIT C IV’s ‘here in Canada’ a few years back and it was 2ce a week, approx. $135-150 a pop. Unfortunately, because of that expense & difficulty injecting the needle into my arm (I kid you not, it often took Dr. & nurses 1/2 an hour to find a vein!), I had to come up with an alternative.
I currently take Lypo-Spheric Vit. C (mfgr. is LivOn & one of the best). Take 1 pouch in 25 ml of filtered/distilled water 4-6 times/day (your body can take it). Don’t swirl or mix the ‘blob’ at the bottom of glass with the water – just chug the whole thing down. Recent studies are showing Liposomal Vit. C. to be almost as effective as intravenous method (and certainly beats paying $150 a pop for intravenous solution). Hope this helps.

  40. Just seen your videos with Chris from Chris Beat Cancer and your video on how to do the Budwig Protocol. I was interested in the dairy issue – I have just been operated on a month ago for a 4.5 soft tissue tumour to be removed from my arm – they told me leaving it in there was not an option as it was “borderline, atypical and active” – it could have been a peripheral nerve sheath tumour or a malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumour (MPNST) – which are aggressive – thankfully I have just had the news it was the former ie it was benign but had already started on the journey of research, juicing a lot, cutting out dairy, ( since reading Professor Jane Plant’s book “Your Life in Your Hands” where she asked the question why 1 in 10 women get Breast Cancer in the UK (I am from the UK) and one in 100,000 women get Breast Cancer in China and she said the major thing she concluded as a scientist was the hormones we take in with all forms of dairy. She had breast cancer 5 times and was told it was terminal and she had months to live and she dramatically changed her diet and cut out all dairy and has been cancer free for 14 years now) – wondered what everyone’s thoughts on this were – I recommend her book but obviously the Budwig Protocol has cottage cheese – I suppose the key thing is if it works but welcome your thoughts – very best wishes to all here on their journeys back to health x

  41. Thanks Carla for all that you do. i salute you. I’m just starting to learn all the info. I’m from San Diego too for the last years, and i would love to connect with Jennifer Fightlin. She might be able to help me with some info here in san diego (where to go etc). Is it possible?
    Much much thanks!!

  42. How much essiac tea daily? IV vit. C. How often did, do you receive and are you still on? B17, do you take pills or apricot seeds? If seeds how many per day and if pills what brand and how many daily and where do you get them? Thank you

  43. Sadly, Jane Plant died earlier this year, but NOT from cancer, despite numerous recurrences. “It is with great sadness that we report that Jane Plant died on 4th March 2016. After 30 years and the disease recurring 8 times, she always stuck with her diet and was actually clear of cancer when she passed away from a blood clot…” I’m personally not so sure about the non-dairy/China link (though I eat minimal dairy following oestrogen-positive BC), as there are many other differences between our cultures, including dietary and environmental factors – how do stress levels compare, for example? I do believe that we need to strengthen our immune systems as much as possible, and this is my personal quest now.

  44. Hi Carla. Amazing story.

Were you raw vegan? I am going through a pretty real scare and Navarro urine test confirmed it. The diet is were I am really struggling. I am very skinny and need to eat at least 2K calories a day but I cannot do it in a raw vegan diet. What did you eat in a typical day (new blog post idea “What I Eat in A Day”.

    What about sugar in fruit?

  45. Go to American Anti Cancer Institute websight and read the archived newsletters. They only treat cancer with natural therapy and the newsletter “The Wright Stuff” tells you what treatments they have used with lung cancer. Look through the archived newsletters if needed…I assure you as a Holistic Nutritionist Food is you medicine! Go organic, alkalize your body (drinking lemon water does that) and know that cancer cannot live in an alkaline body! Breathe and believe…your belief that you can beat this is 1/2 the battle and I believe in you!
    Vickie N.

  46. Hi Mar, I did not do raw vegan, I am plant based with some meat and seafood as long as it is organic and pasture raised, eggs also, I just tried to eat very little meat protein as it is very hard for your body to digest. I also had a lot of coconut oil and avocado for fat. I’m not worried about sugar in fruits because it processes different than regular processed sugar. Yes “What I Eat in A Day” is a good blog title, I will work on it!

  47. Hi Jennifer, I live in San diego too. Stage 4 cancer and I would like to share info. I too am juicing and doing on my own. contact me on face book! Wendi Saggese.

  48. I saw your post and wanted to share my story to help. I am stage 3 Invasive ductal carcinoma. I had a double Mestectomy with no reconstruction. I had a mass of 3.5 cm , 3 positive lymph nodes and a tumor in my chest wall. I have done one round of chemo and I’m done. I won’t continue . I have chosen to do radiation , change my diet and find out all the stuff I need to fight this disease. If it doesn’t grow in the ground and is organic I don’t eat it. I am currently researching the supplements I need. Turmeric and Flackseed are known. It’s mostly mentality to keep going , with faith that is getting me through . I just want you to tell your mom she’s not alone! My prayers to her, God Bless

  49. Karen says:

Hello, Was wonder how much of each ingredients to make the Budwig protocol that calls for 6 spoons of organic cottage cheese. That is all she measures.

    Did anyone catch that?
    Thanks

  50. Hi Karen, You mix 6 tablespoons of Organic Lowfat Cottage Cheese with 3 tablespoons or Organic Flax oil (Barleans), mix with immersion blender until creamy like mayo and you cannot see any more oil. Add 1 Tablespoon of fresh ground flax seed, stevia, berries and nuts. If you are very sick twice per day or at least once per day for maintenance. I hope this helps, Carla

  51. Hi Kimberly, I drink one cup of essiac tea daily, I used to do 50,000 IU of vitamin C infusions 2 times per week, now every two weeks. I did not take B17 because I wanted to see if Vitamin C would work by itself with the Budwig. I figured that I could use it later if the vitamin C didn’t do the job. I will post a link to B17 soon. I hope this helps, Carla

  52. Hi Carla! Don’t know if you still remember me but I had the pleasure of meeting you about maybe 3 weeks ago when you gave a Free Clubhouse Meetup at our apartment complex. You are a very down-to-earth person, very friendly and so full of energy and excitement to share your testimonials regarding your victory over cancer. Watching your video, you mentioned about this low dose Naltrexone. Does this requires a prescription from your oncologist? Also, I love drinking tea and would love to start drinking this Essiac tea. Can you please tell me where to buy this?
Thank you and looking forward to your response.

  53. Hi Tod,
Where did you buy your Essiac Products? I’m interested and the details of the proper dosage.
Thanks and looking forward to hear you soon.

    -Laura

  54. Heya just wanted to give you a brief heads up and let you know a few of the images aren’t loading properly. I’m not sure why but I think its a linking issue. I’ve tried it in two different internet browsers and both show the same outcome.

  55. Hi Nikki, my understanding was that the cottage cheese contains sulphur and the Flax contains Omega 3 and somehow these get inside the cancer cell and kill it, could be wrong. But I had the same question mark over the protocol as you I.e. The dairy issue. It’s hard to know because a lot of people are using multiple protocols at the same time e.g I am on budwig, juicing, b17, supplements, CBD oil etc. I am going to get that book Your Life in Your Hands and have a read for a different perspective.

  56. Carla, I have just had mascectomy for same cancer as yours hormone positive but HER2 negative. Was just wondering if you took any oestrogen blockers (nature) like EstroBlock or I3C to lower the oestrogen. The oncologist has recommend Tamoxofin but I don’t want to take it, they haven’t even looked at my hormone blood test results and have already recommended Tamoxofin. I also read on one of the cancer council websites that most breast cancer patients with metastise are HER2 negative? Do you know why this is?

  57. Hi Justine, I did take Femara for a few months, but I would never take Tamoxifen, I’m not sure why most HER 2 negative metastasis? I hope this helps, Love Carla

  58. Thank you Morris, I don’t know a whole lot about websites, I’m just learning so any advise would be great!

  59. Carla, I was diagnosed stage 1 breast cancer in May 2016, Estrogen+. My question is, can i still have sex normally since i am a married woman? Or will this affect the alternative treatment i am doing?, the budwig protocol and nutritional diet.

  60. Hi Carla.
I live in LA and I’m post menopausal 52 yo in overall great health (healthy veggie for 25 years + fit) but recently diagnosed with DCIS Stage 1, Type one 92% ER+ 3% PR+. I opted for double mastectomy as had a several spots of other irregular cells and didn’t want 6 mos radiation from mammograms or radiation. Clean margins, no lymphs so no chemo and no radiation BUT doctor suggesting anti estrogen drug like new AI Anastrozole or older Tamoxefin for 5 years to bring down chance reoccurrence…thoughts? I have a 10 year old daughter and want to live to see her grow up!
Also, do you have suggested places in LA for alternative therapies like vitamin C IV etc. Thank you.

  61. Hi JP, it sounds like you are on the right tract! I don’t know of any specific clinics in the LA area that do IV vitamin C, but I know that there are many there, just google integrative medicine, or vitamin C iv, or holistic clinics. You have the same type of Cancer as me except I had Stage 4, the Vitamin C worked great for me, I’m sure if you continue to learn and follow the path you are on, you will be fine! Love, Carla

  62. Dear Barbara, as far as I know, it’s fine to have sex, I’m guessing that you think that will get your hormones going crazy, but I have not heard that so we may need to ask a specialist in hormones, I will look into that for you. Love Carla

  63. Thank you, Carla! Will be waiting to hear what you find out from a specialist. Again, thank you! Barbara.

  64. This design is incredible! You definitely understand how to have
a reader entertained. Involving the wit along with your
videos, I used to be almost moved to start my very own blog (well, almost…HaHa!) Excellent job.
I truly enjoyed everything you was required to say, and over that, how you will presented it.
    Too cool!

  65. Does your site have a contact page? I’m having a tricky time locating it but,
I’d love to send an e-mail. I’ve got a bit of recommendations for the
blog you might be enthusiastic about hearing. In any case,
great blog and that i look forward to seeing it improve after
    a while.

  66. I have stage in breast cancer spread to bone with lung water. I need wear oxygen at home or portable outside. Can I eat vitamin c instead infusion of it. If yes what is the quantity. . I have start 4 times chemo because doctor said it remove lung water also. I try to stop chemo in cycle, 3 but. Immediately feel breathing problems because lung water. So can I combine both vitamin. C with chemo. My email. Emmuel2016@gmail.com

  67. thank you Carla for your messay and support. my sister is 42 years old. she got deagnosed by stage IV breast cancer, she is Her 2 positive and ER negative, we are trying diets, any suggestions. have you come through HER2 positive during your research? thank you
